If you love the Old West and want to get your boots dirty, head down to Unadilla for the annual Angel City Spring Rally. This lively event attracts all types of folks, including hobbyists and impassioned riders who live and die by the road. You’ll see plenty of saloon-style haunts with great drinks, local food and plenty of live music to keep the party going.
There’s lots of space in the area to spread out. You can reserve a spot for your RV or camp out under the stars, but reservations tend to fill up six weeks before the event kicks off. There are also accommodations nearby if you prefer to have a roof over your head.
Overall, it’s a fairly laid back event that will make you feel right at home.
Street Vibrations Spring Motorcycle Rally 2022
Reno, NV: Friday, June 3, 2022 – Sunday, June 5, 2022
There’s no better place for a motorcycle than the desert. Come out to Reno, Nevada for a festival of music, metal and motorcycles. The annual Street Vibrations Rally is more of a parade than a rally with dazzling entertainment with show-stopping numbers and just about all the motorcycle gear you could ever need. You’ll see live stunt shows, poker runs and some impressive riding maneuvers.
The entire affair takes over most of the city with seven outdoor stages and over 250 vendors. Reno is also known as Las Vegas’ little sister. The city is full of gorgeous desert views, casinos and more live entertainment options. The event tends to attract some 50,000 riders from all over the world, so be sure to get your tickets soon.
June Bug Boogie – Spring Motorcycle Rally
Cookeville, TN: Thursday, June 16, 2022 – Sunday, June 19, 2022
Billed as “Tennessee’s Wildest Party,” the June Bug Boogie is just as much fun as it sounds. The event is full-on blast with local bands, a full-service bar with to-go drinks and onsite camping. Every day features a packed lineup of talent, so you’re sure to get your money’s worth. It’s best known for its hilarious biker games, including the biker roadkill contest, loud pipes contest and many more! The event is 21-plus, so you’ll need to leave the kids at home. If you like to get wild and show off your silly side, this is the place for you.
Hollister Independence Rally 2022
Hollister, CA: Friday, July 1, 2022 – Sunday, July 3, 2022
The Hollister Rally has a special place in history. It was inspired by the classic 1953 movie The Wild One starring Marlon Brando. That was the first time many Americans saw young men in matching leather jackets tear up the streets on a band of motorcycles. This tradition is alive and well. The event is full of leather apparel, hipster bike phrases and memorabilia that will transport you back to the 1950s.
The entire downtown area becomes engulfed in motorcycle fandom with bike shows, parades and competitions taking place on nearly every street. Stay for the famous Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band Skynnyn Lynnyrd, known for playing classic tunes the way they were meant to be heard. The event is also free to the public.
High Seas Rally 2022
Port Canaveral, FL: Saturday, October 29, 2022 – Saturday, November 5, 2022
Head down to the coast to give your bike some time in the sun. The High Seas Rally takes place just outside of Orlando on Cape Canaveral, giving you and your fellow riders an entire island to explore. Plan for seven nights of wild parties, live music and Caribbean-style adventures. This event pairs everything you love about motorcycle rallies with all the luxuries of an island vacation. You can sip a Pina Colada on the beach or tear up the streets on your bike. The party doesn’t stop at the water’s edge. The event takes over Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas to throw a party at sea. It comes with a pool deck, an onboard casino and foot-stomping concerts.
